Keyboard sometimes doesn't work after sleep or boot

I have a USB keyboard (Microsoft Natural Pro) that often doesn't work after waking from sleep or even from boot. I have a mouse connected to to the keyboard and that always works, so the pass through is working just not the keyboard. I've tried fiddling with all the power settings, turning on XHCI, trying different ports, uninstall/reinstalling drivers, etc. without any luck. When in this state, sometimes unplugging/plugging in the keyboard works but not every time. I have to hard reboot and eventually it starts working again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

did you try to use keyboard alone in a usb port and mouse in another not using the keyboard to connect it .

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this and it seemed like it was working but today I did a reboot and again it stopped working. I had to move it to the front USB to get it to work. Rebooting, unplugging it from the back and plugging it into another port all didn't work. Any other suggestions?

could you test mouse on another system also i would check voltage values using hwinfo sensor page you might have a psu issue .

Where do I check the voltage of the keyboard in HWINFO? I looked around but don't see anywhere that shows that info. I was using this keyboard on a different keyboard until recently and never had any issues with it until I started using this new machine.

no it will show the 5 volt line value that what feed keyboard .
