So I recently purchased a new keyboard (raptor k30) and too my dismay after the first log-in I never progressed any further.

It occasionally makes it past the windows log-in screen but I always then see a "drivers installing" in the bottom right and it stops working. I tried disabling automatic driver installation but it still occurs.

I have no problem with wiping my PC and starting from scratch but I would like to know if there is any point into doing so.

Also I have tested it on other computers and it works fine.

I'm running windows 7 ultimate and my build is :
Gtx 760 4gb
Corsair 8gb ram
Mobo- MSI A88x-g43
AMD a10-7850k
Psu- corsair 600w

Thanks for any help given.

I've had this issue with a Razer mouse, the bloody synapse window popped up before windows was done installing, it halted everything, I started the install from scratch and unplugged the mouse. I'd also try changing USB-ports, unplugging it (using another keyboard or the onscreen keyboard, should be able to pop up during the password prompt) till windows is done booting, that helped me with a keyboard that refused to work.
