Hello, this is my 1st post here and I tried to find a thread that could solve my problem but could not.
I've been having keyboard issues happening on my laptop. Every couple minutes the last key I pressed is endlessly repeating, and it stops after pressing another key (eg "exampleeeeeeeeeeeeeeed"). And occasionally the keyboard will randomly fail, until I revive computer from sleep. The keyboard can sometimes fail after wake too, which after re-wake I can fix it in the meantime. Whenever keyboard fails I can see in Device Manager the keyboard's missing...
The latest firmware is there, and the keyboard works in the bios menu, which tells me that the issue is not the keyboard itself...
The company's repair people say it's the keyboard controller and/or the keyboard, but they weren't of any help beyond that.
Can I fix this myself? Thanks in advance for any help!
