My keyboard (Max Nighthawk Pro X, Cherry MX Blue) which I've had for a few months recently started typing random numbers and letters when it type. Some keys don't work at all, and others type random letters and numbers. I know it is not a problem with my PC, as i am typing on it right now with a different keyboard. I didn't spill anything on it and it hasn't really moved for the past several months. I also tried plugging it into my laptop and the same problem occurs. A solution will be appreciated, but i understand if i have to get a new keyboard.

Any drivers involved? If so, download and reinstall.

Check the keyboard's User Guide/Manual for cleaning instructions. However, spilling something on a keyboard is not necessary to mess it up.

General usage, dust, debris, etc. can do that on their own.

Unplug the keyboard. Turn it upside down over some paper towels and gently but firmly tap the keyboard ends a few times with the heel of your hand. May knock something loose. May help and you truly have nothing to lose.

Overall, if the keyboard is old and does not work on other computers then the keyboard may be at EOL (End of Life).

Either by design or usage.

Then, as you noted, you may need a new keyboard.
