Keyboard won't recongnize

I have a Saitek Eclipse 3 keyboard, and Windows 7. I recently unplugged the keyboard and moved the computer a few feet. The computer will now no longer recongnize input from the keyboard, however, it still lights up. I have an old ps2 keyboard plugged in, which works. Why is this happening to me?

Have you tried a few USB ports, or the keyboard at another computer? USB mouse working OK (to rule out any issues with the USB ports)?

If the keyboard works at another computer, a BIOS reset can sometimes fix quirky USB port issues, give that a go, (unplug PC from wall power, open case, take out the BIOS battery for a few seconds, reseat battery, turn on PC).
