Keyboard working in game and to logon but not for typing

Hi guys
I turned my pc on today and once I logged in I found that I couldn't type on Google or anywhere else, however I was able to put my password in to logon on in the first place. After that a few weird things kept going on like being able to type but all numbers were symbols as if shift was on. Anyway, now I'm in a position where both keyboards I've tried don't work, in game the control and space bar keys don't work and I can only type occasionally, the rest of the time it doesn't work. Even the in game chat didn't work even though I could control my character. Game is BFV by the way.
What do I do?

I just tried the onscreen keyboard, after a minute of the keyboard working before it stopped again and it's showing a while bunch of random keys being pressed while yhr keyboard is still attatched, mainly control Windows and alt. I can't even with the onscreen keybaord once the real one is detached
