[SOLVED] Keyboard's spacebar sometimes doesnt register key and sometimes double spaces.

As the title mentions above, I have difficulties typing with my spacebar as it sometimes doesn't register the key being pressed and sometimes it will do two spaces. Any help?


I tested with other keyboards and it worked perfectly. I currently have a Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition purchased around August 2017. My OS is Windows 10.

Also, i did check under the key and there is nothing there, indicating nothing is wrong with the key.

I think you've already answered your own question. If the board is under warranty, do that. If not, you have two options. Buy a new keyboard, or order new switch(s) (don't know if it has one switch or two under the space bar) and unsolder the old switch and solder the new one it. There's howto's on youtube about that kind of thing. Should use razer mechanical switches (you'd have to figure out exactly which one).

It likely has warranty, since it lasts two years and ive never opened the keyboard so it isnt voided. I'll see what I can do!
