Keylogger or no?

For the past couple days I've been wondering if I have a key logger or not because for instance when I'm playing a game and watching a live stream(Twitch.tv) in the background, once in a while I tab out of my game to watch the live stream and I see it says that I typed something in the chat when I didn't type anything, I was just wondering if it was a key logger of some sort

It doesn't sound good, no.

Is it typing phrases/sentences that you know you didn't type? Or is it duplicating any keystrokes you may have used in-game? Does it appear limited to Twitch?

Do you have any abnormal processes running in Task Manager or at startup? Those are good indications. You'll likely have to google some of the processes to understand what they are.

If in doubt, you can always nuke the drive & reinstall. Personally, I'd just do that - but some people are not too good at backing up data, so that may not be a very 'simple' option for you.

Yeah its typing random things like torrent and random stuff, and no its not duplicating the keystrokes. and I was checking my processes and i will post a picture of what all my processes are.

I've only noticed it happening when I was playing World of Warcraft too.

I guess I should've said - it's not necessarily a 'key-logged' (where it's tracking what you type), but definitely sounds like some kind of virus.

Nothing looks out of the ordinary in your processes, but that doesn't mean a virus isn't hiding behind a reputable naming convention

I am scanning my computer with Malwarebytes to see if I have anything, or do you suggest any other program to run to remove these type of viruses, and do you think I should or need to wipe my hard drive?

Need to? Maybe not - with the right detection tools.

Should you? Probably. Especially if you can't detect anything. Something doesn't seem right, and it's (usually) easier/safer to nuke your drive and reinstall than it is to spend your time digging deeper

True, thanks for everything, I hate reinstalling windows 7 xD so annyoing but whatever
