Hello folks.

So I had been gaming on an old Dell membrane keyboard for a while and started having a problem that I have only ever experienced while gaming. I will for instance be driving in Grand Theft Auto V and I will make a long right turn and then when I left go to straighten the "D" key gets "stuck" but not physically. It stays "stuck" until I hit the "D" key again, almost like a toggle. I have tried to find a pattern to this and was unable to find a specific way that it happens. I tried turning off sticky keys as well as all the other keyboard options in "Ease of Access". I have trolled through the forums here for a while and found several other posts about this kind of topic and tried their supposed fixes that work for them and had no luck so far.

I am running Win7 SP1 and have updated to a brand new Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Red switches if that makes a difference what kind of switches I have. I tried downloading the Corsair Utility Engine and found no use in that. It only destroyed my whole audio setup.

If I left anything out I do apologize, it's past my bedtime.

I also apologize if for some reason I come across as some sort of a dolt for maybe posting this in the wrong area or for some sort of stupid question, I know how touchy forum dwellers are.

I thank all of you greatly in advance for all your wonderful help!

I would have a check in windows 7 to make sure the sticky keys option is not enabled.
You will find the options in control panel \ ease of access center. Keyboard settings.
Turn off sticky keys if enabled or checked.

Have a look its one of the reasons more than often why it seems a key is stuck or constantly pressed down.

I have already done so. That was one of the first things I had checked after coming across this issue. No luck there
