Keys on keyboard not working after putting new hdd

Hello! I am unsure if i am on the right topic

I have a HP Pavilion 15 n001so laptop and many keys such as m,n,b,v,c,x,down arrow, right arrow, f12, f8 and more is not working. It happened when i replaced my old hardrive into the computer i am using. The hp laptop have windows 8 preinstalled and hdd had windows 7. The computer started fine with windows 7 but then the keys didnt work, so i installed windows 8 on the hdd. But it is still not working!

Reseat the keyboard connections, sounds like something got loose when you installed the hard drive.
