i just got my new 760 gpu but it gets really hot. at idle its about 40c, while gaming its 75 max i have seen yet and thats just loadin the game up and playing for 5 minutes. at 70, its that hot i can barely touch it because how hot it is. i dont want to blow up my new gpu. any1 no why, it might be because my powersupply is a corsair 430 watt and not 500, but some1 told me on this site the psu will be fine for a couple of years.. my old gtx 650 ti scc. never went past 40c while gaming, and on my new gpu the screen is a bit more blurry than my old gpu.

specs
i5 3470 oc to 3.60ghz
8gb ram
kfa2 gtx 760
430 corsair psu

Solution
Come on 75 C is no overheating. It could go up to 90 C or more while gaming. Its natural. Don't worry it will be good for few years.

I doubt about your PSU. Here is some specs:

KFA2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 EX OC•Core Clock (MHz) : 1058
•Core Boost Clock (MHz) : 1110
•Memory Clock : 3004 (6008) MHz
•Memory Amount : 2GB/ 4GB
•Memory Interface : 256-bit DDR5
•Outputs : Dual DVI-I / Dual DVI-D / HDMI /Display Port 1.2
•DirectX : 11.1
•Power connectors :1x 6-pin, 1x 8-pin
•Cooler : Dual Fan, Quad heat pipe

KFA2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760•Core Clock (MHz) : 980
•Core Boost Clock (MHz) : 1033
•Memory Clock : 3004 (6008) MHz
•Memory Amount : 2GB
•Memory Interface : 256-bit DDR5
•Outputs : Dual DVI-I / Dual DVI-D / HDMI /Display Port 1.2
•DirectX : 11.1
•Power connectors :2x 6-pin
•Cooler : Standard

So do you have the required PCI power connectors. I would like to suggest you to buy a more power efficient PSU. It will likely to handle the GPU for few days to month and then will die on you. So be careful.

BTW is this your PSU model : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026

If so it has only this PCI-Express Connector1 x 6+2-Pin

And lastly which interface cable you are using, DVI/HDMI ?

this is my psu http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Builder-Series-Bronze-Supply/dp/B009RMP14M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373477964&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+430+watt

what so al only have a month out of this gpu, omg am not even goin to run my pc. thats bad, i have the standered card the one with the 1 standered cooler fan. am using a 6pin on my gpu its called pci-e, and the other 6 pin i used 6pin to molex. so if i dont get a new psu will my gpu fry with in a month? is the psu the problem then.

oh right now am on vga

Yes it is the same PSU that I linked. It is dangerous to run with a molex converted to pci-e connector. I am not saying that your PSU or GPU will surely die, but there is a strong possibility. If you could, try to replace your PSU that has 2 x 6+2-Pin connector. And try a Dual Link DVI cable for better performance.
