Question Killed my pc

Hi all, my hard drive is 500gb partitioned C=100gb and D=400gb...
C was basically full and in my wiseness, I copied all of my files and pasted them in D.
Then I did the unthinkable and deleted all the files in C because my brain told me all is peachy because I pasted all in D.
NOW I lost Microsoft Office, don't have a desktop and to top it off I get no "tree"
Tried system restore but nothing...

IDIOT move of the bloody year!
Can anybody help?

You need to reinstall/repair your windows installation and reinstall office

wow i didn't think it was still possible to mess up windows like that these days but a repair will fix it by going into the recovery menu.

back in the day i removed something vital from windows 95 and ended up reinstalling windows

This assumes you set D drive as your boot partition and you have a working copy of windows 10 there. Once you undelete the files on c:\, you'll need to set the boot partition back to C.
