Hi all....I have recently installed a Qualcomm killer 1525 AC M.2 PCIe Performance Wifi Laptop Card on my Gigabyte X99 M Gaming mATX system......had some issues with the drivers with Windows installing everything on bootup apart from the Network Controller....finally found a driver which sorted this out or so I thought ( in device manager everything seems ok, and drivers all good).......however I am just getting no wifi signal from the card, almost like some switch is turned off somewhere but that's impossible, it's a desktop system, not a laptop???? What am I doing wrong for it to just not pick up any signal, just the usual Red 'No connections available' symbol in the taskbar icons.....

I cannot see a solution to your problem, unfortunately. It has nothing listed about this card online, either. You really should nit have to do anything as far as I know to get connection, except install the driver.

However, I just wanted to let you know that if nothing works out, the wifi card I use works great and it amazing. If you want to try it out, here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Low-profile/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1422563876&sr=1-1&keywords=wifi+card&pebp=1422563875490&peasin=B007GMPZ0A

You don't need to buy it if you don't want to. I am just putting it out there as an option.

i just don't get it, everything is installed great, just no signal....it's almost like it's only designed to go into a laptop that has a wireless switch that turns the signal on and off!!!???......I don't want to use a PCI wifi card as I need the space.....so frustrating!!!

Now I am baffled....I connected my little mobile wifi dongle which I use abroad, uses just 3G signal, set it up by plugging the USB end of the Huawei device in and connected obviously as it had direct connection.....took it out and I am still connected via wifi......so the wifi signal is working but why is it not picking up my home broadband router etc, I have several around me for work and home so I know there is nothing wrong with them......

Ok so......the little wireless Huawei device is right next to my PC.....move it like 3-4 meteres away from my PC and my PC wireless signal goes off.....move it close again and connectes straight away......surely this card has a bigger range than 1-2 meters....??? This is bizarre???

set my PC up right next to the router that my internet goes into and it picks up the wireless signal straight away, but again it's within 1meter.....how pants is this card then, what's the point in it being wifi when u literally have to have the router next to the PC. What a joke, shall be returning for a refund

Yes, you should do that. I have never heard of this card which was the reason I was confused. I guess this card was a little outdated., but I am not sure I couldn't really help you as there was nothing about the card online. Get a better wireless card after refunding it, and that is all the advice I can give you unfortunately.
