Killer Network Manager

I just built my computer but brought it to a store to have the OS installed and the guy installed VLC Media Player, Nahimic for MSI, and Killer Network Manager.

What is Nahimic for MSI, and Killer Network Manager? I looked up some stuff about KNM and a lot of people said it was literally killing their network.. could someone help me out? Thanks!

Nahimic is audio enhancement software.

Killer Network Manager allows you to configure your Killer gaming network controller and monitor your network connection. You can download and install the Driver Only package that doesn't include the Killer Features since those features are not needed to be able to use the Killer LAN chip. I haven't found any benefit to using KNM.
