Hello guys, im looking to buy an SSD for my dad for his OS and 120gb would be more than enough for him, i was looking at Kingston A400, also its in a great deal here in my country.
What are your opinions on this drive ?
PS: no need for m.2, SATA is enough!

While you may thing 120GB is enough....it probably is not.

250GB.
Crucial MX500, Samsung 850 EVO are the two best choices.

Hi Kadir,

I have this SSD in my dads computer. It has very fast boot times, but we had a more expensive Kingston UV400 which died after 3 months so I think the entry level Kingstons are of average quality. I can get an A400 for $49AUD or a Western Digital Green PC SSD 120GB M.2 2280 for $55AUD in my market. I would personally spend a bit more for a Samsung or Intel SSD as they are more reliable. If the drive dies, you may have issues reusing the same windows key too many times.
