I have a couple of the 1Tb versions of these fast memory keys yet both display the same issues with large files.
If transferring say 40Gb to one it gets to around 6Gb and speed drops to a pathetic 40Mb/s or so. Sometimes it bounces around this forever or recovers back to full speed 2/3rds into the transfer. The keys appear to be overheating and quite hot to the touch !. Yes I've contacted Kingston and you can imagine the response.
One is A01KF and the other a later A02KF (printed on the metal of the usb plugs). What is your version number and have you noticed any similar issues ?.
