Kingston Hyper X memory 1600mhz issue

Hi guys,

I recently bought myself an Asus P8P67-M Pro motherboard along with a i5 2500K and 2 x 4GB Kingston Hyper X Genesis DDR3 1600Mhz RAM.
My problem being is that in the BIOS I set the RAM to 1600Mhz, but in CPU-Z it shows a max bandwidth of: PC3-10700 (667Mhz) and a current DRAM Frequency of 800Mhz?
Everest shows that my memory speed is DDR3-1333 (667Mhz)?

I'm not that new to overclocking, just new to the new BIOS layout and settings.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

CPU-Z displays 800 MHz and that's correct. Double Data Rate (DDR) memory runs at twice the frequency, therefore 800 x 2 = 1600.

Cool I understand what you're saying but just to clarify:
Why does it show max bandwidth in the SPD tab: PC3-10700 (667Mhz)
And same goes for Everest which shows that my memory speed is DDR3-1333 (667Mhz)?

The SPD tab only displays what it read from the SPD chip. The memory tab displays how fast the memory runs.
