Hi,
The thread title says it all, I have just ordered Kingston Hyperx Fury 1600 Mhz x 2 to use on H61M-E having an i3 2120 installed along with an R9 270. i3 2120 does not support anything over 1333 so any recommendations there? Anything to tweak in BIOS?

Specs say it requires the regular 1.5 volts so I believe it will work ok? I'll most probably not overclock it.

Solution
It will prob initially set to 1066 with your mobo, maybe 1333 then can try 1600 manually. The Fury will set themselves up for you to a default - they don't use XMP

Alright, so I tried to set the speed to 1600 in the BIOS but I got the error on boot telling me "Overclocking Failed". I set it back to 1333 and PC boots and works fine. I haven't made any changes to RAM timings in BIOS.

Is it worth changing the freq to 1600? If it is, is there a way to get it done? Maybe I need to set the correct timings? (which is 10-10-10 for this set of RAMs)
