Kingston M2 does not work with laptop

Hello

I got kingston snvs500g as a replacement for my old m2 that stopped working on my new laptop, I got it from kingston support. However I bought new laptop because old stopped working, I inserted this new one into empty M2 slot and this also does not work but it is on new pc... It came sealed in package. Kingsgon M2, It does not show up in "my PC" (where is storage) once I open Lenovo Vantage it shows there as 100% even it was never used before. I installed Kingston SSD manager and it shows something there ss partitioning. I dont even know what to do, is it damaged?

This is the thread you were dealing with. At this point, I'd quit using Kingston's stuff since they've been hit or miss but they have been known to cherry pick units to reviewers to help garner favorable reviews from the community.

If the drive is brand new, you should be able to see it in BIOS for your laptop and then install your OS using a bootable USB installer fabricated using Windows Media Creation Tools.

This is confusing, are you seeing the same issue on your PC or you're seeing the issue on your laptop alone?

Assuming this is something not as simple as the drive actually being detected in BIOS, and showing is disk mngmt and simply being unallocated, therefor needing formatting within disk mngmt? (No new NVME will ever simply show in 'My PC' without the above procedure, btw)
