Hello,

Got myself a Kingston SSD

Station #1 - KINGSTON SKC300S37A240G (223 GB)
SKC300 that is

I notice that when using this ssd for games it stutters.
COD Bo3 is unplayable due to lags and enormous fps drops.
Same goes for Cod 5 world at war.

Even counterstrike 1.6, though I start to believe that with only this game after like 5 minutes it only stutters a few times per minute compared to contiously at the start.

Playing these games from my ssd Samsung 840 evo 2nd hdd is no problem at all.

Im using Intel i5 5200 (mobile) with hd graphics 5500.

Any ideas on this issue?

Using the disk for data etc is no issue, also it is used as OS disk.

Hey there, Ricardo.

First you should make sure that all the cables have been properly seated to both the HDD, PSU and the motherboard. If you're still experiencing issues, you should try the drive with a different SATA port and cables, or even better - with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. Also, download an SSD diagnostic tool and test the drive with it, to see if anything out of the ordinary pops-up. Another option would be to update the SSD's firmware if there are any available updates on its manufacturer's website.
If everything fails and you still have no clue why this is happening, perhaps it would be wise to get in touch with the SSD manufacturer's customer support and as for further assistance.
