Question Kingston SSDs recognized intermittently

Folks,

I have 3 different computers but all with the same problem now: 3 models of Kingston SSDs being recognized intermittently. Sometimes they are recognized by the BIOS and there are days when they just don't boot because the BIOS ignores the SSDs. Two of them are brand new. They are installed on two PCs and one notebook in entirely different settings!

I updated BIOS, firmware (Kingston's SSD Manager), ran tests (HD Tune, etc etc), and nothing. I also tested the SATA cables and they are working just fine.

I don't know what else to try.

So all the sata cables and all the sata ports are fine? then the ssd is the culprit here. get a refund or rma it. Crucial is great if you're about to replace it, or team, klevv.

Yes, I replaced all the sata cables, and tested the sata ports. They are just fine. Thanks for the branding tips. I thought Kingston was reliable enough.

The problem is that even the old SSD is doing the exact same thing. In some boots the BIOS can detect it, but just resetting the PC it just disappears.
