Kingston v300 vs Sandisk Plus SSD

Kingston v300($39.99) vs Sandisk Plus($39.00)

The specs on the sandisk show faster read but much slower write speeds. And there is some drama surrounding the v300 making a hardware change after reviews and firmware making it slower or something. Please advise.

Alternatively, are they both crap and should I just get a Samsung 850 Pro($69.99) or a Samsung 850 Evo($66.48) instead? All drives are in the 120-128GB range.

Best answer in your situation is, the samsung 850 pro is much higher quality for the difference of 30 dollars.
