Why is this kingston ssd so cheap?

Definitely worth it to go Samsung. A year ago, Kingston started a bad practice of putting low quality NAND memory into its V300 series:

I think you should go with Samsung, as they build overall better SSDs than Kingston. As he said, Kingston SSDs are known to have issues. Definitely go with Samsung. You will get a better SSD experience and will not have to worry about any issues that you would if you bought the Kingston drive. If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me.

I have a Samsung SSD and i love it, it has not given me problems yet. in fact my windows 8.1 boot up is 4-6 seconds. i would go with the Samsung

I would personally go with the Samsung SSD since it is probably a lot more high quality.
