Hey people, I was watching some youtube videos and came across a PSU I've never seen or heard of before, the Kingwin LZG-700. It's modular with blue leds, even got 80 plus gold certified tacked on... list price is $170.. neweggs got it goin for $90.. can't find much as far as reviews, but maybe it's just a new product..

Anyone wanna comment on the the possibility whether or not this would be a good PSU? It looks comparable to the OCZ 700w modular PSU..

Yea, I've been reading over some reviews on their other PSUs and everything seems pretty good. Personally I have a Corsair 750TX powering my i7 build, but I'm trying to help my brother build his first custom PC. We're throwing everything into an Antec 900 case and nearly all of the components have blue on them, so this would be a nice addition.

Anywho.. I'm gonna change it up and buy one of these Kingwin PSUs.. the 700w should be more than enough plus some xtra headroom for an i5-750 and a 5850 right? Don't plan on Crossfire, just gonna do some overclocking.

I was originally gonna go with a Corsair 750tx but that would be $20 more and not as flashy as the the Kingwin, plus this one is modular... the 80 plus specs look pretty impressive too http://www.80plus.com/manu/psu/psu_reports/KINGWIN_LZG-700_ECOS%201413.1_700W_Report.pdf
