Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 THX Multimedia Speakers

Hey...I am about to get my speakers is this a good choice? They are a bit pricey and I have heard that the subwoofer over heats causeing something to mess up the satelites which in turn make the right speaker short out and not lay sound out of. I am debating on weather I should get these or not. There are alot of good reviews on them and I think these are the ones I am going to buy. But has anyone else had the overheating problem? Cause if it was only in that one persons set then I am going to buy them. But if alot of people are expericening this problem then I will probably go with something else.

I have the 4.2 for over a year. I did not have any problem with it.
