Know anything about this r9 290x?

Hi very specific question but i have just found this gpu on sale for an extremely good price, nearly 100 pounds cheaper than a well priced gtx 970 (i know pros and cons of amd vs nividia). Just wondering if you could give me any specific information e.g. is it prone to overheating or bad for durability anything like that. So here it is, any other opinions on the card would be great!

Great card, and at a brilliant price. 970 is *marginally* better for £30 more - may or may not be worth it depending on how close to your budget you already are.

I have found one on sale for £210 so it is like 60/70 pounds summer, why i am so exicted ahaha. Thanks for your help.
