This may be a difficult question to pose but here goes. I am aiming to complete a build in the next 2 weeks I am currently just trying to buy the cpu and gpu.

Knowing what we know now from today's IB launch and assuming a small ($10-15) price drop on the 2500k, will there be any value to getting the 3570k for the better integrated gfx, pci 3.0 etc? I realize that pci 2.0 bus saturation isn't an issue with the current cards and I will never be using the integrated gfx as a gamer but just looking to hear what the excellent community has to say. Thanks for your responses

Details on build:

NZXT Phantom Full Tower
CM Hyper 212 EVO
Corsair HX 850
8 GB Gskill Ripjaw 1600 RAM
ASUS P8Z77-V
ASUS 24x DVD
Crucial M4 128GB
Samsung 7200RPM 1TB

GPU ?

Not really in a rush to get a card because I won't be able to start playing games until around may 15th and even then I have an 8800 that will run Diablo 3 decently for a week or so before I buy. I was leaning towards a non-ref 7970 but was going to ask about that more in the proper sub forum.

I should also add that I'm a gaming enthusiast not an overclocking one. I don't see much benefit OC'ing past 4 or 4.2 in any case so I'm not sure the heat issues shown by IB really are even an issue for me.

Im not inherently opposed to the idea but id more likely go with something like an H100 vs trying to do my own setup cause its alot of work/maintenance. Would a 1.4 ghz OC provide any real benefit over a .6 to .8 mhz OC in gaming anyway?
