So the pc Im building needs a PSU, it has an i5 8400 and a gtx 1070, or 1060 6gb, cant decide yet, anyway I have 2 options, either I get a PSU from Corsair, a 550-650w PSU but its 80+ White, or a PSU from an unknown company, called nJoy, which is 650w and 80+ Gold rated, it has 4.6 stars out of 5, unlike the corsair one (VS650) which has 0 stars and its, as I said, 80+ White rated....(white is lower than Bronze) So, any help?

Solution
A good 400W power supply would be fine. Your system would use about 250w while gaming, a reference: https://www.techspot.com/review/1515-msi-geforce-gtx-1070-ti/

What more info do you need? I can get an EVGA 500w bronze I think, and a cooler master 600w bronze....the njoy one is a bargain in my opinion, any other info that you need?

Budget would help. Location? If you are in the USA and looking at PSUs like that, you aren't looking in the right place.

I also don't suggest getting an 8400 and a 1070 like you think of doing. While that's a good combo, if you have to buy a junk or suspect PSU to power it you've made a bad choice. Get the 8400 and 1060 3GB and a good PSU. That way you don't blow up your $400+ video card by buying a junk fire starter.

Im in Romania, my budget is 250 Ron, aka 62$ Thats how much I can spend on it.

Njoy Woden 650w 80+ Gold.
3.3v: 15A
+5v: 13A
Combined wattage : 114w

12v+: 43A
Wattage: 516w

That unit is basically a bald faced lie. It's an old, group regulated design with sub standard rails for a 650w psu. It would be lucky to rate as a 500w psu, most probably rank as a 450w Gold at best. And you wonder why it's such a good deal. By comparison a Corsair RMx 650w Gold is 25A, 25A, 54A.

From the OP, you have the choice of a 1070 or 1060. Personally I'd sacrifice a little on the gpu and go with the 1060 and bump the budget for a decent psu, because that njoy is a piece of junk and I'd not trust it with an expensive gpu like the 1070.

The psu is the single most important component in any pc. By a wide margin. You can sacrifice any other piece but should never sacrifice on a psu. Bad psus will lead to bsod, damaged components, shutdowns and fires. Yes, fires.

Go for the 'good deal' if you want, but when the gtx1070 and mobo and psu fry due to overloaded, spiked, lousy or dirty power outputs, you'll have no one else to lay blame on other than the idiots who gave it 4.6 stars for a cheap price, fast shipping and it worked. Oh, and the fancy yellow fan that looks great compared to the ordinary black fans.

The njoy is mediocre at best: http://prikachi.com/images/486/8802486N.jpg

Can you link to retailers you mind purchasing from?

Looking at a Romanian retailer: https://www.pcgarage.ro/surse/filtre/general-certificare-80-plus-titanium/general-certificare-80-plus-silver/general-certificare-80-plus-platinum/general-certificare-80-plus-gold/general-certificare-80-plus-bronze/pret-52-pana-la-276/?
Good power supply options around your budget include the Corsair CX 450, be Quiet System Power 9 400, Be Quiet Pure Power 10 400, FSP Hexa 85+ 550

I will go with the njoy since its 80+ gold and people love it, thanks for the support

Sorry, I replied while reding only the last answer, im not going for the njoy one anymore, someone suggested a corsair or be quite, i hope Ill found them in stock, even though the pc will use 300w is a 450w psu enough?
