my digital camera was dropped off on the lenses while it was on, now the auto motor of camera to open the lenses is damaged, could it be fixed?

My question is all about is the lens the most expensive and non-recoverable part?

In USA, it is expensive for repairing because the labor and not the part. You can try to find the local repairing shop to see how much to repair. If it cost you more to buy the new one and just forget about the repairing.
