Question Kolink Observatory remote not working?

So I've set up my computer and everything is working fine except the remote for the RGB fans, I can however change the colour with the button on top (the one labelled RGB). Thank you in advance!

Below from the manual,
It seems they may need to be wired differently?
Not sure what the statement below indicates with regards to the RGB control.
The instructions in the manual are a bit lacking.

"There is also a slot for a USB type C connection, but this is not included in the case and must be retrofitted separately. The same applies to a switch for controlling the RGB lighting on the I/O panel."
