Koss headphones mic not working windows 10

I'm on windows 10 and i bought a koss over ear wired headphone., it includes a mic and the mic does not work on my pc. i have realtek as well. i've tried many solutions but none have worked.

Can you specify which model of the Koss you own as there are just too many to narrow down? Please pass on your full systems specs. What sort of suggested solutions have you tried to no avail?
