A while ago there was a KOTOR2 thread discussing the so-called
Force Bond between the Exile and Kreia. Several people asked why
the Exile wasn't at risk if Kreia was killed in the end. The
answer to that question is in the game files but it looks like it
was cut out completely from the game.

When you find the Jedi Master on Korriban she was supposed to be
alive and would tell you that if one of you (Kreia or yourself)
fell to the Darkside the bond would be severed.

This also explains why the bond between Revan and Bastilla in
KOTOR1 did not have any serious consequences since Bastilla
herself would inevitably fall.

It would have been nice to have an actually complete game in which to
learn that. Thanks for the info, that whole bit really bothered me.

If you haven't seen this yet: http://magestrix.com/K2End/

They're starting to offer the mod in parts now. Mostly fixes at
the moment though.

Why the hell did they cut this? Oh man I can't wait for the KOTOR
restoration project to "fix" the game.

I'm sure Obsidian has lost a number of customers that would buy NWN2 on
release day (or ever) because of this whole KOTOR2 fiasco.

X-Box, and after the disgust I felt with 2, I'm not giving Obisdian
anymore of my money.

The only way Obsidian will get my money for NWN 2 is if they release a
stellar product that is bug free, contains ALL the content, and isn't
just another rehash of NWN...
