Kraken X60 Fan Replacements?

Can these be used to exchange the stick fans on the Kraken X60 rad? Akasa 140mm x 25mm VIPER PWM Fan w/ Hydro Dynamic Bearings (AK-FN063)

you can fit any 140x140x25 fans to it. akasas have a reputation for there fans but its not a good 1. they tend to be cheap and poorly engineered. every 1 i have used has started to rattle after a few weeks or months. better to go with something like the noctua nf 14's they have high static pressure with good cfm flow and best of all they dont mind being under volt'd if you want them to run near silent.

Can you be specific on the Noctua model since there are a few nf 14's? When i referenced the Akasa's they seemed to have the highest pressure rating see specs below: Am i confused on the spec? Is higher better?

to be honest the numbers look a bit iffy to me. if there true then its the quietest 110 cfm fan by some margin, but going on the past fan quality i doubt its reflective of the real world performance. there a brand that i just dont trust.

Point taken the one Noctua you specked out looks good. I am new at this so just wanted to get some feedback. Appreciate the recommendation. With that said would these be good for fan cases instead of the rad since I already have 4 of them with 4 Phobya Shroud & Decoupling Gasket 140mm (7mm thickness) for vibration?

they work well as either case fans or cooler fans. they are just quality.
check out the rest of the fans you may find something that fits your requirements better. i would recommend you get a good fan controller if you dont already have 1.
