Kraken X61 Radiator for Custom Loop?

Is it possible for me to take off the tubing and cpu block/pump of the Kraken X61 and use that radiator in a custom loop for both my cpu and gpu? I'm thinking about a custom loop and am wondering if I can save money on a rad.

if you want to save money, don't think about liquid cooling.
the AiOs are mostly shinny toys/gimmicks with performance and noise equal or worth than much cheaper air coolers.
custom loops are expensive hobby.

If you are creative enough, you can reuse it. but it has no standard thread so connecting it will require modding.
It is also made of aluminum which is better not to be mixed with copper/brass parts.
