So I have a Nzxt h440 case and am thinking of getting the Nzxt kraken x62 ( the 280mm one) but I don't know where or in what configuration I should have it. I have kept the stock fans from h440 so the front 3 are pulling air into the case and the back 140 mm fan is pushing hot air out. My question is if I put the water cooler on the top do I have it pulling air through radiator and into the case or pulling air through the radiator and out of the case. With option a I will have air flowing into the case through the radiator wich because of my singular 140 mm exhaust fan will cause negative positive air pressure so it will have those downsides. On the Other hand if I go for a neutral pressure and have air from inside the case flowing through the radiator and out of the case ( wich will get rid of hot air) it means the warm air will be going through the radiator so I will get higher temps since the air wich of cooling down the water won't be that cold.

So do I have hot air cooling down the water in my radiator or do I have a positive pressure inside my case and only 1 exhaust fan....

Also do I have my fans pull air through the radiator or push it through??????

Actually, you ideally want to PUSH air through the radiator, out of the case.

I've always done this based on environment: if there's any chance of dust, a positive pressure (lots of push) will mean a lot more dust accumulates in the case... that said - it's easier to generate more airflow with positive pressure...

I have NZXT Notcis 450 and i had Kraken x61 on top of the case pushing the air trough the rad. Then i put the fans on top of the rad so they pull air instead of push and i get 2-3 better temps. GPU temps were the same.
