I'm just wondering if my corsair crystal series 570x case is compatible with the kraken x72 cpu cooler. in the case details it says in the front is compatible with 360mm and lower from that. and also if it's worth to switch the including fans with the fans on my front (2 sp120 1 hd120) or use all 3 hd120 on my case on the cooler and switch the 2 sp120s on the roof?

Solution
Paste by itself will last longer than the pc, if not messed with. The paste itself isn't what transfers the heat, it's the silicates, diamond dust, minerals etc in the paste that do that. So the paste is good even if it dries out. However, just like bathroom caulk, if you break that seal with hard vibrations or impact, it'll never stick back. That's when it's time to redo the paste.
The X72 is compatible with the 570x.

You can do whatever you want with the fans. You have some good ideas there.
The ones that come with the NZXT Kraken X72 are optimized to overcome the static pressure of the radiator.
I have found from experience that NZXT fans are a little louder than other manufacturers' fans at the same or similar RPM. Or maybe they normally run a little faster. Either way, they perform very well.
Push pull is another option, although you're getting pretty good cooling with this massive RAD.
Some people are into RGB fans, others into all matching fans, and still others into purely Noctua fans...those don't come with RGB.

Put the rad up top as exhaust and use all 3 hd's in front. That's all you need. Use CAM software for the cooler, set for silent mode, use it under liquid temps not cpu temp and forget about it. Performance mode ups the rpms and noise, and only gains 3-4°C, so really not worth it there

do u know if the cooler comes with thermal paste pre applied and how long it will take to have to install new thermal paste

Yes, thermal paste is pre-applied, just don't forget to remove the safety plastic right before you seat the pump. And do not touch it.

Paste isn't something that gets re-used, so if you remove the pump or move it Alot as you are seating it, you will have to clean all the paste from the pump head and any still stuck on the cpu. Then re-apply paste with just a small pea-sized dab in the middle of the cpu. Can take 5 mins to clean well, about 3 seconds to apply paste.

so as long as I don't remove the cooler anytime or anything for like 5 years the thermal paste is there doing fine
