KT133A - Win2K Compatibility?

Last I read here and other sites - re: initial testing of KT133A boards using Win2K - if you populated more than 1 (maybe 2?) DIMM slot(s), the system became unstable!

Have they come up with a solution to this problem?

Good question! As you said, several KT133A mobo reviews by Tom, AnandTech, and others, all reported that problem, but so far I haven't read anything further on the subject.

Don't even know if it's a problem for MS to fix in Win2K, or Via in their chipset! --->Tom???
