I just bought a Kt7a-raid and an AMD 1.333(266). I got the 3R bios but noticed that a few things were strange.
1. The bottom half of the kt7_3r.txt file looked corrupted.
2. When I went into the bios and set instant off I still had to wait the 4 sec before the system shut down. (This was fixed by reformatting and installing Win98se)???
3. The lpt1 port is set to ECP but HP printer setup program didn't recognize it as ECP.
4. I thought I remembered seeing in the original bios version an option about L1 and L2 cache which I don't have now.

I'm just wondering if you have noticed these items also. I have downloaded the bios twice and got the same corrupt text file. I was wondering if the bios was also corrupt.

I'm having much better luck with win98se than the orig win98.

One last thing, will I have to user define the processor in the bios in order to use the 1.333(266)? The highest setting is 1.333/133

Thanks

I'll have a look at the first things you mention when I get home, I recently got the 3R bios- but I dont know about the text file being currupt as I never reaed it, as for the clock settings, 133/33 x 10 = 1333.
