Hello All,

Has anyone tried any of the cheapo KuWFi outdoor 4g LTE routers? Just curious if they are worthy of giving a try. It appears many of them are rigged soley for Asia & Europe?

Thanks

Solution
You have 2 issues using any form of cell device.

First you need to verify that it will technically work with your provider. These device must have radio chips that run on the correct frequencies that your provider uses. Because each provider has a licenses for different radio bands in different areas it can be tough.
Most equipment will list the radio bands it supports and you need to compare that to what your provider uses.....if you can find it.

Next even if the device will technically work the provider may refuse to activate it on their system. This is more than just the sim they can tell the brands etc of the device. A example is huawei equipment is not allowed by a number of providers even though it will function...

Maybe the best answer will be to call up your provider and discuss this with them. They likely will have lists of devices they know will function on their network.
