GPU: R7 370 / R7 360
RAM: DDR 4 8 or 16 GB (have not decide on speed)
PSU: 500-600 Watts
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte Z170 XP-Sli / Gigabyte Z170-HD3
HDD: Samsung Evo 850 (booth up) & WD Black Caviar (Storage)
OS: Windows 7 or Windows 10? have not tried windows 10
CASE: some recommendation (brands i could get hold is NZXT,Coolmaster, Thermaltake & Cosair)

So basically i have more or less decide on a few parts which i listed above which i a gift to someone.

That person will be playing casual games, first person shooter and some football manager but would not be doing any overclock.

Trying to fit into the $1,000 budget I could alittle over the budget i am ok|

Don't bother with a Z series motherboard if you aren't overclocking. And step up to a R9 380 with the saved money, no reason not to and it's a pretty big improvement over the 360/370.

I think that looks like a pretty good build. The Z motherboard is good even though you're not going to overclock because of all the features and it's cheaper than some H170 boards.
