Should I close the L1 bridges? I do not plan to overclock it for quite a while so is it really necessary? Hopefully, they will already be closed, but just in case they aren't, I'm asking.

Closing L1 bridges to manipulate Multiplier on AMD CPUs. If you don't plan to overclock, it won't be neccessary.

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

if you arent overclocking, dont bother with them. and if they already are closed, then why not get some 50 or 100 MHz extra for no cost at all???

Yeah, definitely. I took my Tbird from 1.2 (9x133) to 1.33 (10x133), and updated to the 12.90 video drivers for my GeForce 2 MX, and I now have almost double the frame rates in UT. I can't wait to see how far I can push it :)
