Question Labels on Case Fan Cables

This may seem like a silly question, but I am totally new to PC building.

When you get a Noctua cable for example, there are labels on there that identifies what the cable is:

Similarly, for certain case fan cables. there may also be a label to identify what the cable is or where it needs to go.

Is it safe to leave these cables on? Or is there risk to damage of components if the plastic label touches components when the computer is turned on?

Ideally, i'd like to leave them there to make cable identification easier, but if it risks shorting components, then i'll remove them.

If you're not using cables and they are detachable by all means pull them out. Less cabling means better airflow and a cleaning looking PC. Is it safe to leave them? That depends on what is close, if they are not obstructing anything moving then they should be fine to leave in place.
