Been at this for hours no with no clear solutions. Many people have said that unplugging their PC worked for them but doing so did nothing for me unfortunately. I've tried disabling my IPv6 and I've already set my IPv4 to automatically get subnet, gateway, ip and DNS and have even tried using google's DNS and still nothing 
I even disassembled everything and unplugged all components from my PSU. I can connect to my router using other devices, just not my pc using an Ethernet cable. Are there any fixes out there for this? Apparently it's a problem with the 'NIC' but I'm uneducated as to what that is as I don't seem to have one (an external one at least). I'll post my ipconfig stuff shortly.
Edit: When connected to my laptop using the same Ethernet, it also says 'unidentified network' in the network connections settings.
Edit: My OS is Win7 Ultimate. No problems with it for the last few year or so
