Lacie 12big storage failure alarm

Hi, I got to fix a Lacie 12big Rack Storage Server at work and it's driving me crazy.

Some time ago the alarm started to bother me, it was a continuous, loud sound. The problem initially was that one of the three HDDs of the RAID wasn't being recognized by the system. After looking all over the configuration software and rebooting that was fixed for a moment. However the alarm was still sounding.

I don't remember why, but I've rebooted again and the system crashed, it wouldn't boot. So I installed Windows Server again, and after booting I had the initial problem.
The last thing I could find out was that the continuous alarm is related to HDD failure and not power or fans as the manual said, the manual has not been really helpful actually.

I want to know if there's a chance of shutting down the alarm or solve the HDD thing. The first option would be enough for me at least, but I couldn't find anything about the motherboard in the Internet (serial number didn't help) and warranty is over.

Ummm replace the hard drive?? Those things have alarms for reasons. Especially if this is at your work. If those 4 Drives are in a RAID and one fails of course it is going to sound the alarm because if another drive dies all your data is gone.

Just find out what hard drive is bad (Usually by a blinking red/amber light on the Hard drive Tray) and find the make and model and by that same one and replace it. Turning the alarm off shouldn't even be an option if the server has anything valuable on it.

The are three drives, the initial failure was in the second, it wouldn't be recognized as assignable space. However, the first drive is the one with the flashing amber led. I said shutting down the alarm just because of the noise, as something temporary, people here don't want to let me turn it on in half my shift because of that. I'll consult about changing the drives, but there are two drives from another server to be bought still.
