I have a Lacie 4big Quadra attached via eSATA to my Win 8.1 workstation. I recently changed the SATA mode on the Asus Sabertooth Z87 (most recent UEFI, v2003 I believe) from RAID to AHCI. Now the 4big no longer shows as a hard drive...it shows in Device Manager under 'Other Devices.' I've tried uninstalling the device, but as soon as it is redetected it shows back under other devices. It DOES show up if I change the SATA mode to IDE...but then I run in to other issues like Win not booting.
Thoughts and suggestions on how to get it to show up again? I've searched for a specific driver for the 4big to no avail. Seems like it needs some sort of SATA driver...
