[SOLVED] LACIE 8BIG RACK THUNTHERBOLT2

i have a 3 lacie 8 big rack thuntherbolt2 in raid 5 and recently one of theme makes a big with a red bouton and the problem is with one of a HDD (the fourth one) and when i open lacie manager i don't see the fourth one?

Have you tried replugging in the drive? Try the drive out in another enclosure or connected directly to the PC and check the SMART data. If it doesn’t appear then, Power cycle it manually a few times, otherwise I’d write it off as dead.

sorry but my english is so bad, what i m traying to say is when i saw the drive failed, i put a nother HDD with same caracteristics but nothing happen. i precise that i connect all my 3 big in mini mac server with thuntherbolt 2 and when i rebot the mac it says that ' the disc you inserted is not playable by this computer" and when i put ingored i see the disk . it seems that the third array work with only 3 drives??

another HDD with same characteristics? is the same make and model? is it a new drive?

If the drives were in a RAID 5, you will likley have to initiate the rebuild process for the newly installed drive, which will take many hours.

think y rgd1101 fro the link , but i have the compatible HDD "segate" but i think that i lust clean the connector HDD and see if that will solve the problem.
