LaCie Porsche P'9220

Hiya,

I just bought a LaCie Porsche Design Mobile Drive P'9220, 1TB storage, so I could store and watch movies on my television.
However, when I connect it to my television nothing happens: the light indicating the Mobile Drive is activated lights for a second, and it keeps 'vibrating', so to say. When connected to my computer it works perfectly fine, however.
This Drive came without a manual and I can't find anything about this on their website, hence I came to ask here.

Edit: It seems to work fine on my parents' television. I myself have a Sony Bravia.

Hi,

The vibrating noise is the disk trying to 'spin up' but isn't getting enought power from the USB port try this.

This is probally because the USB output voltage is higher on that TV.
