Lag battlefield 4

I am trying to figure out if I have lag problems - When I play Planetside 2 I get a totally smooth experience, it looks like I never have lag.

When I play battlefield 4 I get a fairly smooth experience but lag is frequent.

Does the fact that I have no lag on planetside 2 mean that my connection is fine and its something to do with battlefield 4?

Yes But it's totally smooth planetside 2
