Lag during or after playing minecraft

I have had my custom built pc for about a year now and for the past 5 or 4 months I have been getting this weird moments of lag but at least 3 times a week, I have CCleaner and I use that twice a week can anyone tell me how I can fix this? P.S. I do play games like Minecraft and it does occur while playing sometimes.

It happens whenever I open chrome when playing minecraft.

chrome can be a resource hog and may not be releasing like memory after you close it out ?? google chrome is a resource hog and read up on it cpu and memory issues ??

thing is those 2 things your running would never make it on any of my rigs [opinion]

right there you got 2 things that can eat all your memory , and most likely fighting over it and boggs things down [more opinion]

and I don't guess I ever seen anything good out of java stuff -loads of script , loads

with out knowing anything else I would say its coming down to the memory just cant take it
