Lag followed by beeps after gaming

Sometimes after I game for a bit and I close the game down, my system wont register clicks or typing from my computer.

Then my mouse movements are laggy and every movement of the mouse and every click of the mouse causes a beep.

The only thing I have left to do is reset the computer.

The system is:

Windows 10
Intel 730 480gb SSD
i5 6600k CPU
R9 290x GPU
Its a computer I have hooked to my TV so I have a logitech wireless keyboard that has a trackpad mouse.

any ideas whats causing this? It doesnt always do it, but very frustrating when it does.

skylake cpu there is a known bug in the chip that shows up under stress. it the prime 95 bug. most vendor had to drop newer bios files to fix that error. make sure your mb has the newest bios file. in the bios make sure ram xmp profile is on and the ram is set to the right speed. als omake sure you have the newest intel chipset drivers installed.

I did update the bios the other day...it seemed to cut down on the occasions. I do have XMP enabled, but I am not sure I have newest chipsest drivers installed.

What is chipset.blah blah_public.zip vs the other one, setupchipset.exe?
